Jewish Labor Committee Summer Travel Opportunity in Europe and Israel on the
Holocaust and Jewish Resistance
This popular 16-day seminar, founded and directed by Vladka Meed, is planned
for July 6 - 21, 2008. This seminar includes educational activities in
Poland and Israel with the participation of scholars from Polands' Jewish
Historical Institute in Warsaw, Israel's Yad Vashem in Jerusalem and the
Study Center of the Ghetto Fighters' House at Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta'ot.

This is a highly subsidized trip so the cost to the applicant is only $2,300
and includes round trip airfare from New York, hotel accommodations, two
meals daily all land travel and teaching materials.
The deadline for applications is April 1, 2008.
Educational Outreach Programs
One EOP is scheduled every year the last week in October on the Vanderbilt University campus. Teachers from across Tennessee are welcome to participate.
Belz-Lipman Awards
This annual award recognizes excellence in the development of a Holocaust course of study and in teaching the unit to students in middle or high school.
